hey everyone. i'm bored, so i'll make up a quiz thingie related to art. thought you might like to know my inspiration and such ;D

1: how/when/why did you start drawing?
actually it was my dad who taught me, way back when i was a little one. he said i was drawing before i could talk... lol
he still has some of my really old stuff from when i was about 2 or 3 (but its really scary! XD)
2: what has been your constant main inspiration (with art) throughout your life?
ah, Pokemon definetly. from Pokemon i learned most of what i know, it's always been such an inspiration to me. i cant thank Pokemon enough for how much it's helped me. thanks Ken Sugimori, for drawin' all those Pokemon!
3: are there any areas in particular you'd like to improve in the most?
yes, of course. i've never really drawn humans very much, but i'm really working on coming up with a way to draw them. i know i can kind of do it already, but i really want to get a good grip on it. also, i'm always trying to improve on anatomy and everything all the time so...yea
umm thats about it lol.

2. The amount of people inspired by Pokemon is probably... alot. o-o I know it was one of the big inspirations in my life, though I used to like to draw the little pokemans for fun and sell pics of them(which kinda sucked) to my classmates for 25 cents each. x] Amoung pokemon, I was inspired to draw by other things that interested me, like nature and other toons and stuff. I think the largest inspiration I've ever had was my source of obsession a few years back: a lil show called 'The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy'. Sure, I'd always enjoyed art before, but that show made me really concentrate on making my drawing skillz improve. Thank you, Billy n' Mandy(and Grim o' course ;D)
3. Anatomy. Any kind of anatomy. Sure, I can draw pretty pics with simple poses, but when it comes down to it, my porportions don't look right sometimes. I struggle with fingers/toes, hind/fore-legs of animals, and just limbs in general. Also, I want to learn how to draw technology. Y'know, guns and cars and robots/mechas. That stuff looks so cool, but it's so darned hard to do x.x; finally, I'll just come out and say that I want to improve in all other areas in art besides cartooning. I've been in a cartoony world for too long. No matter how bland I may find realism, I need to learn it better for disverisity :/
